Summary

I am a postdoctoral research assistant working as a member of the Geophysics group, the Bristol University Microseismicity Projects (BUMPS) Consortium and the Bristol CO2 Group (BCOG) in the School of Earth Sciences at the University of Bristol. My research is currently focussed on the microseismic monitoring of carbon capture and storage (CCS) sites where CO2 is injected at depth for permanent storage to mitigate the problem of climate change. I’m interested in what microseismicity can tell us about the geomechanical response of a site to carbon dioxide injection and the migration of fluids with injection. I apply a wide range of seismological techniques based on my background in earthquake location, seismic source parameter estimation and tomography.
