SPEIG - SEISMO-UK

seismo-uk is a mailing list used to disseminate news to the Seismology and Physics of the Earth's Interior (SPEI) community. It is the formal communications medium for JAGSPEI, and is also used for the dissemination of general information and the discussion of topics relevant to the members of the UK seismological and geophysical community. Workers in any area of seismology, as well as in solid earth geophysics and signal processing, are encouraged to join. The list might be viewed as a forum any of the following activities:

for posting notices of general interest to the community such as meeting announcements, job opportunities, recently completed dissertations, etc.;
for the discussion of topics of community interest such as recent research results, data access procedures, and processing algorithms;
for asking questions about seismological topics.

This is not an exhaustive enumeration; at the end of the day, the list will be what its users make of it.
